Crystal Mountain Resort seeks an experienced Ski & Ride School Director to lead and develop our ski and snowboard instruction programs. This leadership role oversees all aspects of the Ski & Ride School, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, staff training, and operational excellence.

The ideal candidate has strong communication, organizational and team-building skills, with a deep passion for winter sports and mountain culture; PSIA/AASI Level 3 preferred, 5+ years teaching, 3+ in leadership.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in ski and snowboard instruction.
• At least 3 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
• PSIA/AASI Level 3 Certification preferred.
• Divisional Education Staff experience preferred.
• Strong leadership, coaching, and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, hire, train, and manage instructors; foster inclusive team culture with safety and guest service at the forefront.
• Design and oversee lesson programs for all ages and levels, including private and group lessons.
• Develop and manage the Ski & Ride School budget, pricing, and payroll; collaborate with resort departments.
• Uphold safety policies, coordinate with Ski Patrol, and manage risk across lessons.
