Middlebury College Ski Areas is seeking a part-time, hourly lift operator to support mountain operations and provide friendly customer assistance. The starting wage is $18.90 per hour with increases for each returning season, and some hours may receive a shift differential for nights and weekends.

Responsibilities include operating lift controls, assisting passengers with loading/unloading, and monitoring safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• No specific experience required.
• Willing to work evenings and weekends.
• Basic First Aid is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Operate ski lift controls to start/stop/speed the lift during operations and emergencies.
• Assist passengers with safe loading and unloading and provide guidance as needed.
• Monitor the lift for safety issues and address any problems.
