Job summary

Middlebury Snowbowl is seeking a part-time, hourly role supporting mountain operations and customer service. The starting wage is $21.05 per hour with increases for returning seasons, and some nights/weekends qualify for shift differentials.

Responsibilities include operating snow making equipment, assisting with base lodge and lift operations, snow removal, event setup, search and rescue support, and general trail and facility duties across the Snowbowl and Rikert as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• No specific experience required.
• Must be willing to work evenings and weekends.
• Basic computer skills are beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Operate snow making equipment during the ski season.
• Support base lodge operations, lift operations, snow removal, event setup and cleanup, truck loading and unloading, and trash/debris removal.
• Report safety hazards or violations to supervisor.
• Communicate effectively with individuals of diverse backgrounds.
• Perform trail maintenance, snow shoveling, firewood collection, parking lot duties, garbage collection, and transportation as directed.
• Assist with search and rescue within ski area boundaries.
