Job summary

Middlebury Snowbowl in Middlebury, VT is seeking a part-time Ski Area Associate to support mountain operations. The role is hourly and non-benefits eligible, with a starting rate of $21.05 per hour and increases for returning seasons.

Evening and weekend availability preferred. Responsibilities include operating snow making equipment during ski season, supporting base lodge and lift operations, snow removal, event setup/cleanup, and general maintenance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Willing to work evenings and weekends.
• Basic computer skills beneficial.
• Basic First Aid beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Operate snow making equipment during the ski season.
• Support base lodge operations and lift operations.
• Assist with snow removal, event setup and cleanup, and truck loading/unloading.
• Perform work assignments per procedures and policies.
• Report safety hazards or violations to supervisor.
• Communicate effectively with colleagues.
• Provide race and event support.
• Assist with search and rescue within ski area boundaries.
