Middlebury College Ski Areas is seeking a part-time, hourly Ski Area Associate to provide friendly, professional customer assistance and support mountain operations during the winter season.

Starting wage is $21.05 per hour with increases for returning seasons. Responsibilities include operating snow making equipment, supporting base lodge and lift operations, snow removal, event setup, and safe, respectful communication with a diverse guest population.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• No specific experience required.
• Must be willing to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Operate snow making equipment during the ski season.
• Perform related ski area tasks such as base lodge operations, lift operations, snow removal, event setup and cleanup, and truck loading/unloading.
• Report safety hazards or violations to supervisor and communicate with diverse guests.
• Provide race and event support and assist with search and rescue within ski area boundaries.
