Job summary

Middlebury Snowbowl is hiring for a part-time, hourly, non-benefits eligible position at the ski area. The starting wage is $18.90 per hour with increases for returning seasons.

Some hours may qualify for night/weekend shift differentials and there is no benefits package for this role. The role involves supporting base lodge and lift operations, snow removal, event setup and cleanup, trail maintenance, and safety reporting, with opportunities to assist in search and rescue and various seasonal

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills are beneficial.
• Basic First Aid is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Supports base lodge operations, lift operations, snow removal, event setup and clean-up, truck loading/unloading, and trash/debris removal.
• Reports safety hazards or violations to supervisor.
• Communicates effectively with individuals of diverse backgrounds.
• Provides race and event support.
• Performs trail maintenance and snow shoveling in designated areas.
• Assists with search and rescue within ski area boundaries.
• Performs other duties as assigned by supervisors.
