Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Workplace Health & Safety (WHS) Manager in Baltimore, MD to champion safety, lead our Global WHS Program, and partner with Operations to ensure a safe, efficient workplace. You will drive risk assessments, analyze safety data, and implement practical solutions that protect associates while supporting productivity.

The role requires strong leadership, site audits, and experience in safety compliance, incident analysis, and emergency response coordination.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 2+ years Amazon WHS or related experience.
• 3+ years increasing responsibilities in WHS/environmental programs in manufacturing, production, or service operations.
• 3+ years of increasing responsibilities in people and performance management, or 2+ years of Amazon Safety (blue badge/FTE) experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead our Global WHS Program implementation and safety compliance efforts.
• Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and analyze incident trends.
• Implement practical safety solutions to protect associates while aiding productivity.
• Lead site audits and manage first aid and emergency response capabilities.
• Build relationships with Operations leadership to drive safety culture and change.
