Job summary

JE Dunn Construction's Advanced Facilities Group is seeking a Superintendent 1 to plan, manage and execute project activities on assigned projects across industrial sectors. You will oversee material and equipment, support people management, and ensure documentation aligns with safety, quality and schedule goals.

You will lead safety culture, coordinate subcontractors, manage on-site teams, develop work plans and monitor progress through daily standups and meetings.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering or related field preferred.
• 3+ years construction experience.
• 1+ years field supervision experience.
• Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety culture on the job site and mentor staff.
• Manage subcontractors and overall job workflow.
• Oversee staff, subcontractors, suppliers and programs (Safety, Quality, EEO).
• Develop work plans for subcontractors and self-performed work.
• Coordinate project site care, custody and control.
