Job summary

JE Dunn Construction's Advanced Facilities Group seeks a Superintendent 1 to plan, manage and execute project aspects, including material/equipment handling, people management and documentation to meet goals. You will work under JE Dunn’s vision and values on complex Industrial & Manufacturing, Data Center and Semiconductor projects.

The role advances into Superintendent 2 with demonstrated leadership and project performance.

Qualifications

• Requires ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing.
• Proficiency in MS Office and project management tools.
• Understanding of construction means and methods and scheduling software.
• Lean process philosophy and best practices.
• Experience with budget control and cost reporting.

Responsibilities

• Leads safety culture and ensures an injury-free environment.
• Manages subcontractors and overall job workflow.
• Oversees staff, subcontractors, suppliers and QA/QC programs.
• Develops subcontractor work plans and coordinates site activities.
• Manages project site care, custody and control, and documentation.
• Leads daily standups and weekly trade meetings; attends progress reviews.
• Maintains project schedule and cost reporting; supports procurement processes.
• Ensures contract terms are followed and supports project closeouts.
