Job summary

JE Dunn Construction’s Advanced Facilities Group seeks a Superintendent 1 to plan, manage and execute assigned projects, including material/equipment control, people management and documentation to hit timely, profitable completion.

The role emphasizes safety leadership, coordination of subcontractors, and close collaboration with project teams to ensure quality and on-time delivery. 3+ years of construction experience and 1+ year of field supervision are preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management tools.
• Knowledge of construction management processes and scheduling techniques.
• Experience supervising multiple trades and coordinating field teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety culture and ensure an injury-free environment on site.
• Manage subcontractors and overall job workflow.
• Oversee staff, subcontractors, suppliers, and QA/QC programs on projects.
• Develop work plans for subcontractors and self-performed work.
• Coordinate site logistics and material/equipment needs.
• Lead daily standups and weekly trade meetings; manage project schedule.
