Job summary

The Boys and Girls Clubs of San Leandro is seeking a Site Safety and Operations Coordinator to lead safety and daily operations at a school-based site. You will supervise safety protocols, coordinate logistics, and support staff to uphold high standards of care for youth.

Responsibilities include staff onboarding, emergency procedures, and collaboration with school and district partners to ensure a secure, structured after-school environment that fosters learning and growth.

Qualifications

• Experience: at least two years working with school-aged youth in an educational or after-school setting.
• Current First Aid and CPR certification or willingness to obtain before start date.
• Availability for the entire academic school year, including training sessions and after-school closeout operations.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students, staff, parents, and external partners.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily site operations in alignment with BGCSL and district policies.
• Lead safety procedures and emergency drills; coordinate with Director of Club Safety and Operations.
• Investigate incidents, document findings, and implement corrective actions with monthly inspections.
• Lead onboarding, ongoing training, and certification programs for staff, ensuring CPR and first aid compliance.
• Manage student enrollment, class assignments, and check-in/out processes via MyClubHub ensuring safety and order.
• Maintain safety records, incident reports, and compliance documentation; coordinate with school administration.
