Job summary

Clayco is seeking a Site Safety Supervisor to support project staff and the safety team in implementing corporate safety standards across projects in the US. You will help develop safety procedures, conduct audits, and promote a safety-first culture on site.

Responsibilities include conducting orientations, leading pre-task safety analyses, and coordinating regular safety meetings. Expect travel, work on diverse projects, and collaboration with a Project Superintendent to keep sites compliant

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Safety or related field.
• 0-5 years of safety experience with field exposure.
• OSHA 30-hour construction accreditation.

Responsibilities

• Assist in development of the project safety program.
• Establish and conduct jobsite orientation for new project employees.
• Attend initial meetings to define roles within the safety program.
• Conduct pre-planning safety meetings with subcontractors.
• Field tasks solo on projects up to $80M.
• Client interfacing.
• Assist Site Safety Manager.
• Lead weekly safety meetings with subcontractors and staff.
• Promote OSHA/Clayco safety standards and train site personnel.
• Maintain safety records and report violations.
