Job summary

Clayco is seeking a Site Safety Supervisor to support project safety across nationwide sites. You will help develop the safety program, conduct orientations for new employees, and lead pre-task safety analyses to prevent incidents.

Daily responsibilities include weekly safety meetings, regular site inspections, incident reporting, and coordinating with subcontractors to ensure OSHA and Clayco standards are met. Travel to projects nationwide is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in safety or related field.
• 0-5 years safety experience; 2-3 years field experience.
• OSHA 30-hour construction accreditation.
• OSHA 500 Outreach Trainer is a plus.
• Physical ability to climb stairs/ladders and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the project safety program.
• Establish and conduct jobsite orientation for new project employees.
• Attend initial meetings to define roles within the safety program.
• Conduct pre-planning safety meetings with subcontractors.
• Lead weekly safety meetings with subcontractor representatives and project staff.
• Facilitate training to ensure OSHA/Clayco standards are met.
• Maintain logs and records of safety meetings and incidents.
• Investigate incidents and generate proper reports.
• Stop unsafe acts or practices immediately and corrective actions.
• Travel nationwide to support multiple projects and sites.
