Job summary

M.C. Dean in Washington, DC is seeking a Safety Professional to oversee Construction Project Safety, Health and Risk Management across multiple sites.

You will develop site safety plans, coordinate with general contractors and owners, and lead incident investigations to ensure regulatory compliance. Responsibilities include conducting S&H training, managing budgets and permits, and implementing ORM processes in line with OSHA, DOT, ANSI standards, and related safety programs.

Qualifications

• S&H training and regulatory compliance knowledge.
• Experience with OSHA 1910/1926/EM-385 guidance is preferred.
• Safety Management Systems knowledge and practical implementation.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with GC/owner to advise on site mitigation plans and S&H training.
• Develop Site Specific Accident Prevention Programs and training plans.
• Assist with site safety budgets, permits, and ensure contract compliance.
• Lead ORM team to review and develop project safety plans per specs and regulations.
• Maintain knowledge of OSHA, DOT, and related safety regulations and standards.
• Conduct or assist with incident investigations and reporting.
