Job summary

M.C. Dean is seeking a Safety Professional to oversee construction project safety, health, and risk management across sites. You will develop site-specific safety plans, lead the ORM program, and ensure compliance with OSHA, DOT, and industry standards while coordinating with project teams.

Applicants should have extensive SH&K experience, training credentials, and the ability to work with general contractors and clients to implement effective mitigation strategies across multiple projects.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of safety management experience with a high school diploma.
• 4+ years with an Associates Degree.
• 0+ years with a Bachelor’s Degree; Bachelor’s preferred.
• Experience delivering SH&K training and regulatory compliance (1910/1926/EM-385 1-1).
• Safety Management Systems knowledge; ANSI-Z10/OHSAS 18001/ISO 3100 familiarity.
• OSHA training designations (ASP/CSP/CHST) pursued or obtained.
• Experience in electrical/construction/federal and commercial S&H contexts.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with GC and/or owner on site conditions and Non-Compliance Notices.
• Participate in meetings to advise mitigation plans, SH training, and technical reports.
• Assist with Site Specific Accident Prevention Programs and training plans.
• Assist with site safety budgets, permits, and contract compliance.
• Lead the ORM team to develop a safety plan per specs and regulations.
• Maintain knowledge of OSHA, DOT and related safety standards.
