Job summary

M.C. Dean is seeking a Safety Professional to oversee Construction Project Safety, Health, and Risk Management across multiple projects in Virginia.

You will develop site-specific safety plans, coordinate with General Contractors and clients, and lead the Operational Risk Management process to ensure compliant, safe project execution. Applicants should have extensive S&H experience, OSHA/1910/1926 knowledge, and a track record in safety training.

Qualifications

• 8+ years with a high school diploma.
• 6+ years with an Associates Degree.
• 2+ years with a Bachelors Degree.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience conducting S&H training and regulatory compliance knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Construction Project Safety, Health and Risk Management.
• Develop and implement site-specific safety plans.
• Lead ORM process with Project Management and GC/owner.
• Coordinate safety training, incident investigations, and reporting.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, DOT, and other regulations.
• Maintain safety budgets and permits; review project plans.
