Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to join a dynamic team in Plano, TX. This contract role focuses on establishing and improving monitoring to measure end-to-end performance and user availability across critical applications.

You will work with business partners and operations to define monitoring requirements, triage production issues, and contribute to a highly observable, resilient infrastructure with automation wherever possible.

Qualifications

• Expert level SRE focusing on end-to-end monitoring and observability of critical applications.
• Experience triaging production incidents and driving root-cause analysis with automation.
• Strong collaboration with product and operations teams to define SLOs and dashboards.

Responsibilities

• Perform full-stack triage of alerts and collaborate with engineers to identify root causes.
• Define SLOs with stakeholders and monitor performance against them.
• Design dashboards and reports to communicate key metrics to stakeholders.
• Improve alerting posture and refine alerts based on incident learnings.
• Analyze incidents to reduce recurrence and automate common remediation steps.
