Job summary

RaceTrac is seeking a highly experienced Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to own observability across critical digital platforms using Dynatrace and Azure cloud services. The role emphasizes proactive reliability engineering, telemetry standardization, and automation across applications, APIs, and mobile platforms.

Hybrid work arrangement in Atlanta with on-site collaboration. Strong background in .NET, API monitoring, and distributed tracing is required to reduce incidents and improve system

Qualifications

• Mandatory technical: 10+ years IT experience with strong Dynatrace expertise.
• Deep knowledge of observability, telemetry, tracing, metrics and logging.
• Azure cloud experience focusing on Monitor, App Insights, Functions, APIM and Log Analytics.
• Strong read/understand of .NET code; prior experience in .NET apps.
• Experience building and maintaining enterprise observability and reliability practices.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Dynatrace SME; design and optimize enterprise observability solutions.
• Develop Dynatrace DQL queries, dashboards, alerts, and analytics.
• Implement proactive monitoring across apps, APIs, Azure services, and mobile platforms.
• Build monitoring for cloud apps and backend processing systems; automate where possible.
• Conduct RCA and drive reliability improvements; reduce alert fatigue.
• Ensure observability readiness before deployments; collaborate across teams.
