Job summary

FastTek Global is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer in Dearborn, MI to ensure cloud and network reliability. You will automate tasks, monitor production environments, and build tooling for observability across multiple data centers.

The role requires hands-on GCP experience, Dynatrace familiarity, and strong collaboration with infrastructure teams to improve on-call efficiency and incident response. Bachelor's degree is expected.

Qualifications

• Hands-on with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Experience with monitoring/observability tools (Dynatrace or similar).
• Familiarity with ITSM tools (ServiceNow).
• Bachelor's degree required.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Infrastructure teams to automate routine tasks.
• Monitor and manage production environments; identify issues quickly.
• Build tooling for system access monitoring and log session recording.
• Improve on-call efficiency; drive incident management and post-mortems.
• Plan capacity and optimize to meet traffic demands.
• Maintain, monitor and alert for proactive health checks.
• Improve performance, stability and security via data-driven analysis.
• Create and maintain documentation and diagrams.
