Job summary

dynaConnections, based in Austin, TX, is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to join a compact DevOps team. The role focuses on keeping business-critical systems running with automated operations, scalable infrastructure, and strong emphasis on cloud-based deployments.

You will design, implement, and maintain OCI-based environments, improve deployment pipelines, and automate monitoring, backups, and security tooling.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the reliability, performance, and availability of development and production systems in line with business expectations and customer SLAs.
• Automate systems, procedures, and processes wherever practical—and document the rest.
• Build, improve, and maintain CI/CD pipelines and software build, packaging, and deployment processes.
• Respond to incidents, troubleshoot issues, and perform root-cause analysis to prevent recurrence.
• Use development and QA environments as a proving ground for new processes and early-warning systems for production issues.
• Stay current with industry trends, recommend improvements and take on other duties as required.
