Job summary

JPMorgan Chase in Tampa seeks a Site Reliability Engineer II to help ensure reliability across critical payments technology platforms for the Corporate and Investment Bank.

You will own incident and change management, partner with cross-functional teams to define SLOs/SLIs and error budgets, and implement observability using Dynatrace, Splunk, and Kubernetes, while applying enterprise AI to accelerate triage and post-incident analysis.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of applied SRE or software engineering experience.
• Experience using enterprise AI capabilities for SRE workflows with data sensitivity awareness.
• Ability to assess AI recommendations for correctness and risk.
• Experience across on-prem and cloud environments with core networking knowledge.
• Hands-on observability using Dynatrace, Geneos, Splunk, and logging frameworks.
• Strong Java/Spring Boot microservices experience and Kafka event-driven patterns.
• DevOps automation: Jenkins CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes.
• Scripting in Python, Bash/PowerShell, or Node.js.

Responsibilities

• Deliver end-to-end service delivery to enable reliable business operations.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to define and maintain SLOs/SLIs and error budgets.
• Uses enterprise-authorized AI capabilities to speed up incident triage and post-incident analysis.
• Own day-to-day incident, problem, and change/event management.
• Monitor production for anomalies and build alerting mechanisms.
• Design Dynatrace instrumentation to monitor performance and user experience.
• Applies AI capabilities to identify toil and reliability risks.
