JPMorgan Chase is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer II to help ensure system reliability within the Commercial & Investment Banking and Payment Technology Team. You will leverage software engineering best practices and AI capabilities to solve business problems while collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve knowledge of JPMorgan Chase's business and technologies.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 2+ years applied experience ( NAMR/APAC – India/ LATAM/ Hong Kong)
• Ability to code in at least one programming language
• Working knowledge of enterprise-authorized AI capabilities to support SRE workflows with strong validation habits and awareness of data sensitivity.
• Ability to assess AI-assisted operational recommendations for correctness and risk, and apply appropriate controls to maintain resiliency, security, and auditability.

Responsibilities

• Executes small to medium projects independently with initial direction and graduates to designing and delivering projects independently
• Writes high quality, maintainable code following software engineering best practices
• Triages and resolves incidents, identifying root causes and preventing toil
• Implements observability patterns, SLOs, monitoring, and alerting for transparency
• Identifies recurring toil and prioritizes reliability improvements
• Understands containerization and cloud-based infrastructure and supports CI/CD practices
