Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. in Tampa seeks a Site Reliability Engineer II to help build reliable payments technology platforms within the Corporate and Investment Bank.

You will own incident management, implement robust observability, and work with cross-functional teams to meet SLOs/SLIs. You will apply AI capabilities to speed diagnostics, participate in RCA, and ensure secure, resilient production services across on‑prem and cloud environments.

Qualifications

• Requires formal software engineering training and 2+ years of applied experience.
• Ability to validate AI-assisted operational recommendations for resiliency and security.
• Experience across on‑premises and public cloud with core networking knowledge.
• Hands-on observability: production monitoring, traces, logs using Dynatrace, Geneos, Splunk.

Responsibilities

• Deliver end-to-end service delivery to enable reliable business operations.
• Define and maintain SLOs/SLIs and error budgets for production services.
• Use enterprise AI capabilities for incident triage, troubleshooting, and post-incident analysis.
• Own incident, problem (RCA), and change/event management processes.
• Monitor environments and implement alerting to minimize downtime.
• Design Dynatrace instrumentation for performance and user experience insights.
• Identify toil and reliability risks and prioritize reusable improvements.
