Job summary

GrayWolf Integrated Construction Company in Hallsville, TX is seeking a Project Engineer to support heavy industrial projects. The role works with owners, engineers, field supervision and suppliers to plan work, resolve field issues, and ensure work is built per contract documents.

This is a full-time on-site position with a defined career path toward becoming a Project Manager. The candidate will coordinate estimates, drawings, schedules, and change orders while maintaining safety and quality

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical, Civil Eng, or Construction Mgmt with 4+ years construction experience.
• Alternatively 7+ years in heavy industrial with scheduling/project controls.
• Experience with cost tracking, RFI, Take-Offs/Quantities, Estimating is key.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, or validate project estimates, scopes of work, and contracts.
• Review drawings and BIM models for accuracy; resolve discrepancies with teams.
• Oversee field activities to meet contract documents, schedule, and budget.
• Coordinate construction with owners, engineers, and other trades.
• Update schedules and generate status reports; act as technical liaison.
• Support training of incoming Project Engineers and trainees.
