Job summary

GrayWolf is seeking a Project Engineer in Hallsville, TX to support a range of heavy industrial projects. You will interact with owners, engineers, field supervision, and suppliers to plan work and resolve field issues, serving as a frontline technical liaison on site.

This development role offers a defined career path toward becoming a Project Manager, with emphasis on schedules, RFI processes, and documentation to ensure milestones are met.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or Construction Management with 4+ years of multidisciplinary construction experience OR minimum 7 years in industrial environments with scheduling and project controls.
• Experience in cost tracking, RFI, take-offs/quantities, and estimating will be key.
• NCCER Certifications preferred but not required.
• OSHA 10/30 preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Interact with owners, engineers, and estimators to prepare and review estimates, scopes of work, and contracts.
• Review design drawings and 3D BIM Models for accuracy and coordinate resolution of discrepancies.
• Provide field oversight to ensure installation quality aligns with contract documents, schedule, and budgets.
• Coordinate construction activities with Owners, Engineers, or OEMs and with other trades.
