Job summary

GrayWolf Integrated Construction Company is seeking a Field Engineer in Sealy, TX to support a range of heavy industrial projects. This role interacts with owners, engineers, field supervision and suppliers to plan work and resolve field issues.

A Field Engineer will serve construction projects and is expected to be full time on the project site. This position is designed as a development role with a defined career path toward becoming a Project Manager.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or Construction Management with 2+ years of multidisciplinary construction experience OR 5+ years of similar construction experience in heavy industrial settings.
• NCCER certifications may be preferred but are not required.
• OSHA 10/30 may be preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Interact with owners, engineers, and estimators to prepare, review, or validate project estimates, scopes of work, and contracts.
• Provide oversight of field activities to ensure installations meet contract documents, quality standards, and budgets.
• Coordinate construction activities with Owners, Engineers, or OEMs, including ongoing owner operations.
• Monitor productivity and verify earned value for progress payments and claims.
• Update project schedules and generate status reports.
