Job summary

Diamond Parking in Seattle is seeking an Operations Manager to oversee daily operations of assigned stations and facilities. You will supervise site and area managers, ensure scheduling efficiency, safety compliance, and financial performance while partnering with the City Manager on strategic initiatives.

The role requires an Associate’s degree or equivalent, strong math and communication skills, and familiarity with MS Office and basic accounting software.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or equivalent, or 6 months to 1 year of related experience.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, instructions, and policy documents.
• Proficiency in basic math and interpreting charts/graphs.

Responsibilities

• Assist the City Manager with all aspects of city operations and assume responsibilities in their absence.
• Oversee site and area managers to ensure efficient scheduling, coverage, and labor compliance.
• Conduct audits to ensure accurate revenue collection and adherence to operational procedures.
• Train associates in customer service, timekeeping, and safety protocols.
• Maintain OSHA and company safety standards and ensure timely reporting to City Manager.
• Manage accounts payable/receivable and support profitability across locations.
• Provide transportation for work duties, including cost of fuel, maintenance, and insurance.
• Participate in strategic planning and provide improvement insights.
