Job summary

Diamond Parking Service is seeking an Operations Manager to oversee daily operations at assigned locations, ensuring customer satisfaction, schedule adherence, and safety compliance while supporting the City Manager. This role requires hands-on leadership of site and area managers, with a focus on process improvements and revenue oversight.

You will guide operational performance, manage expenses, and ensure adherence to labor regulations, while coordinating with internal teams and vendors.

Qualifications

• Education/Experience: AA or 2-year college technical training; or 6 months to 1 year related experience.
• Language ability: Read and interpret safety rules and policies; communicate clearly.
• Mathematical skills: Basic math, ratios, percentages, charts/graphs.
• Reasoning: Apply common sense, follow instructions, solve routine problems.

Responsibilities

• Assist the City Manager with city operations and act in their absence.
• Oversee site and area managers for scheduling, coverage, and labor compliance.
• Conduct audits to verify revenue collection and procedures.
• Train associates in customer service, timekeeping, and safety protocols.
• Ensure OSHA and company safety standards are consistently met.
• Communicate operational issues and recommendations to the City Manager.
• Maintain professional relationships with customers, vendors, and internal teams.
• Monitor field location cleanliness, signage, and safety per company standards.
• Manage operational expenses and support profitability across locations.
• Oversee accounts payable/receivable to meet deadlines.
• Retain and grow the client/customer base.
