Job summary

Summers Plumbing Heating & Cooling is seeking a Manager to lead the operations team, support technicians, and coordinate dispatch to deliver exceptional customer experiences from start to finish. The role emphasizes ownership, accountability, and the ability to drive growth within a branch.

The candidate will work with the general manager to manage budgets and staff development, while ensuring safe, efficient job sites and high-quality workmanship across maintenance, service, and HVAC

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift and maneuver equipment up to 75 lbs.
• Must be able to crawl, climb, kneel, squat, bend and reach overhead.
• Must be able to climb and work on ladders.
• Must be able to use hand and power tools.
• Strong supervisory experience, communication and computer skills are required.
• 3+ years management experience preferred.
• A working knowledge of plumbing and HVAC are required.
• Valid driver's license is required.

Responsibilities

• Manages and develops the staff, including hiring, terminating, scheduling, evaluating performance and directing work assignments.
• Coordinated activities of maintenance, service, and indoor air quality departments to improve efficiency.
• Resolves customer issues and complaints to ensure satisfaction.
• Collaborates with the general manager on creating and managing budget.
• Generated reports and measures of departmental operations and inventory.
• Reviews payroll records to ensure proper pay for technicians.
• Communicates with dispatchers to assign appropriate technicians.
• Evaluates staff to determine training requirements.
• Ensures company vehicles are stocked and warranty parts returned when needed.
• Additional related duties as assigned/needed by branch/general manager.
