Job summary

Amazon is seeking an Operations Manager in the USA, NY, Frankfort area. You will lead and develop a team of salaried and hourly staff, ensure safety, quality, attendance, and performance, and drive improvements through data-driven decisions.

You will manage shifts and coordinate with supporting teams to meet delivery promises. This role includes in-role training at an operating site for 6+ weeks away from the home site, with travel arrangements booked and paid for by Amazon.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of employee and performance management experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience.
• Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.

Responsibilities

• Support, mentor, and motivate your team.
• Lead large-scope projects with site and regional impact.
• Create and implement productivity plans through forecast reviews and load balancing.
• Manage safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises.
• Collaborate with Safety, Ops Integration, Loss Prevention and HR to meet objectives.
• Lift up to 49 pounds and stand/walk for shifts up to 12 hours.
• Work in varying temperatures and environments, including outside loading areas.
• Maintain a flexible schedule, including weekends and overnight shifts.
