Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking an Operations Manager to lead a salaried and hourly team, drive safety, quality, and delivery performance, and manage cross-functional projects. Training is required at an off-site location for 6+ weeks with travel paid by Amazon.

You will mentor staff, optimize productivity, and work with Safety, Loss Prevention, HR, and other teams to achieve objectives. The role demands flexibility and physical work requirements.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of employee and performance management experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience.
• Flexibility to work weekends, nights, and holidays.
• 1+ years of performance metrics, process improvement or lean techniques experience.

Responsibilities

• Support, mentor, and motivate your team.
• Lead large-scope projects with site and regional impact.
• Create and implement productivity plans through forecast reviews and load balancing.
• Manage safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises.
• Collaborate with Safety, Ops Integration, Loss Prevention and HR to meet business objectives.
• Lift up to 49 pounds and perform physical tasks across long shifts.
• Work in environments with variable temperatures and weather conditions.
• Maintain a flexible schedule including weekends and overnight shifts.
