Job summary

SBM is hiring an Operations Manager in Palo Alto, CA to direct company programs and ensure contract compliance with customers. The role requires a bachelor’s degree in business or related field and 2–5 years of experience, plus strong communication, budgeting, and leadership skills.

You will supervise staff, manage schedules, and coordinate with contractors to optimize operations. The position offers a full-time schedule at SBM and requires occasional travel to sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, communications, or a related field with 2–5 years of experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication, customer service and problem solving skills.
• Experience with planning, budgeting and reporting; proficient in MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Direct programs and implement policy to ensure contract compliance.
• Plan schedules, assign personnel to routes and oversee service delivery.
• Conduct audits to ensure safety, quality and service standards.
• Develop budgets, forecasts, and cost estimates; monitor expenses.
• Coordinate with customers, clients, and subcontractors; act as liaison.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and supervise staff training and development.
