Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Field Material Controller for Advanced Manufacturing in Saint Francisville, LA. The role handles material control activities for major capital equipment with close supervision.

You will manage MRRs, MIRs, OS&Ds, and shipments, while upholding policies and procedures. The position emphasizes teamwork, problem-solving, and on-site collaboration on complex construction projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, construction, supply chain, operations management, or equivalent.
• 2–5 years of capital equipment material control experience preferred.
• 2+ years on-site experience in large-scale construction environments.
• OSHA 10-hour Construction Certificate (OSHA 30 preferred).
• Experience with Materials Management software/ERP (SAP/Oracle/NetSuite).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work on-site in Saint Francisville, LA.

Responsibilities

• Develop understanding of material control processes, procedures, and tools.
• Review shipment release related documentation and ensure shipment authorizations align with PO and MCE Plan.
• Advise stakeholders on creating shipment releases and authorization processes.
• Administer Material Receiving Reports (MRRs), Material Issue Requests (MIRs), and OS&D reports.
• Maintain material control documentation and identify material control risks.
