Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Senior Maintenance Manager to lead site-based maintenance and develop the next generation of leaders. You will oversee Maintenance Managers, balance preventive programs with real-time problem-solving, and drive safety and continuous improvement across an 80+ person team.

Responsibilities include budgeting, vendor management, and steering CAPEX while maintaining equipment uptime. Expect up to 15% domestic travel and a focus on safety culture and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of managing large complex facilities organizations experience.
• 7+ years of senior management and leadership responsibilities experience.
• Work flexible schedules/shifts/areas, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.
• 8+ years of direct leadership/supervisory experience.
• 6+ years of industrial maintenance experience.
• 6+ years of leading multiple layer organizations experience.
• 6+ years of senior leadership development and talent management experience.
• 6+ years of managing department spend and labor budgets, performing RCA, and CI experience.
• 6+ years of communicating results to senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and mentorship to Maintenance Managers and Area Maintenance Managers.
• Develop and maintain preventive maintenance programs and manage site budgets.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and partner with site leadership on maintenance execution.
• Manage vendor relationships, coordinate contractors, and guide end-of-life decisions using ROI.
• Travel domestically up to 15% to support network initiatives across sites.
