Job summary

Amazon Inc. is seeking a Senior Maintenance Manager to lead site-based maintenance operations, oversee Maintenance Managers, and develop the next generation of maintenance leaders.

You will blend strategic planning, financial management, and leadership development to optimize uptime and safety for a team of 80+. The role requires 10+ years in facilities leadership, a relevant engineering degree, and a track record of cost control and CI initiatives.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of managing large complex facilities organizations experience.
• 7+ years of senior management and leadership responsibilities experience.
• Bachelor's degree.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Technology, Reliability Engineering, or 2+ years of Amazon RME Full Time Exempt experience.
• Work flexible schedules/shifts/areas, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.
• 6+ years of managing department spend and labor budgets, performing root cause analysis (RCA), and implementing continuous improvement (CI) experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and mentorship to Maintenance Managers and Area Maintenance Managers, fostering professional growth and high performance.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive preventative maintenance programs, manage site budgets and capital spending plans, and drive continuous improvement to maximize uptime.
• Ensure rigorous adherence to safety protocols and procedures across all areas with site leadership to enforce safe work practices.
• Manage vendor relationships, coordinate external contractors, and provide technical leadership on equipment end-of-life decisions using ROI analysis.
• Travel domestically up to 15% to support network-level initiatives across multiple sites.
