Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Senior Maintenance Manager in Indiana to lead site-based maintenance operations and develop the next generation of leaders. You will oversee Maintenance Managers, drive preventative maintenance programs, manage budgets, and lead safety and continuous improvement initiatives to maximize uptime across an 80+ team.

The role requires directing multi-site maintenance activities, partnering with operations, and traveling up to 15% domestically to support network initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Technology, Reliability Engineering, or 2+ years of Amazon RME (BB/3P) Full Time Exempt experience
• Work flexible schedules/shifts/areas, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays
• 8+ years of direct leadership/supervisory experience
• 6+ years of industrial maintenance experience
• 6+ years of leading multiple layer organizations experience
• 6+ years of senior leadership development and talent management experience
• 6+ years of managing department spend and labor budgets, performing root cause analysis (RCA), and implementing continuous improvement (CI) experience
• 6+ years of managing, analyzing and communicating results to senior leadership experience

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and mentorship to Maintenance Managers and Area Maintenance Managers to grow talent and performance
• Develop and maintain preventative maintenance programs, manage site budgets and capital plans
• Ensure safety protocols and procedures across all operational areas and drive safe work practices
• Manage vendor relationships, coordinate contractors, and guide ROI-based equipment decisions
• Travel domestically up to 15% to support network-level initiatives across sites
