Job summary

The Site Lead Instrumentation Field Engineer will plan, coordinate, and provide technical oversight of instrumentation and controls on the project, interfacing with engineering, construction, quality, subcontractors, commissioning, and project management.

Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of industrial instrumentation, analyzers, control systems, field communications, and instrument installation practices.
• Understanding of DCS/PLC/SCADA, networking, Fieldbus, Ethernet/IP, Modbus, and modern control system architectures.
• Strong organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop site and area work processes and plans.
• Coordinate instrumentation scope with electrical, mechanical, piping, controls, commissioning, startup.
• Review instrument drawings, loop diagrams, and vendor documentation for constructability.
