Job summary
Bechtel is building a semiconductor manufacturing plant in New Albany, Ohio. The Area Lead Instrumentation Field Engineer plans, coordinates and provides technical oversight of instrumentation and controls systems installed on the project, ensuring work meets project specifications, quality requirements, safety standards and schedules.

Qualifications
- Required bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 8-10 years of relevant experience or 12-14 years of relevant work experience.
- Advanced knowledge of industrial instrumentation, analyzers, control systems, field communications, tubing systems, and instrument installation practices.
Responsibilities
- Interpret instrumentation drawings, loop diagrams, hookup details, and vendor documentation.
- Review instrumentation systems for constructability, installation sequencing, access requirements, and field execution feasibility.
- Support resolution of RFIs and instrumentation-related nonconformances.
- Coordinate instrumentation scope with electrical, mechanical, piping, controls, commissioning, and startup activities.
- Verify installation quality of instruments, analyzers, tubing systems, and wiring diagrams.
