Job summary

Bechtel is seeking a Site Lead Instrumentation Field Engineer to manage instrumentation and controls scope on the New Albany, Ohio project. You will coordinate with engineering, construction, quality, subcontractors, commissioning, and project management to ensure compliance with specifications, safety, and schedules.

The role requires a bachelor's degree and 10–17 years of relevant experience, plus deep knowledge of DCS/PLC/SCADA, instrumentation installation, and field testing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or international equivalent required.
• 10+ years of relevant experience; senior instrumentation background preferred.
• Strong knowledge of DCS, PLC, SCADA and instrumentation installation practices.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and provide technical oversight of instrumentation and controls systems.
• Interface between engineering, construction, quality, subcontractors, commissioning, and project management.
• Develop project-wide instrumentation processes and procedures.
• Support testing, turnover, commissioning, and issue resolution.
• Identify risks and resolve field issues in schedule-driven environments.
