Job summary

Bechtel Corporation is seeking a field supervisor on a major New Albany, Ohio project. You will monitor planning, safety, quality and technical activities across a complex, multi-stakeholder site, coordinating supervisors and craft professionals to align work with schedules and safety standards.

The role demands leadership of multidisciplinary teams on large industrial projects, with responsibility for cost control, schedule accuracy, and subcontract management, while upholding ES&H compliance

Qualifications

• Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 10-13 years of relevant experience or 14-17 years of relevant work experience
• Extensive experience in large-scale industrial or M&T construction projects
• Demonstrated leadership of multidisciplinary construction teams and subcontractors
• Strong understanding of construction operations, planning, scheduling, and execution processes
• Deep knowledge of ES&H requirements, quality standards, and regulatory compliance
• Experience managing subcontract performance, commercial risks, and contract administration
• Ability to lead in high-complexity, schedule-driven environments typical of fabrication plants, data centers, or advanced manufacturing facilities

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the cost, schedule and optimization of craft labor and maintaining the overall construction schedule
• Develop 90 day and 3 week look ahead schedules for labor and equipment
• Inspect site for unsafe conditions and take corrective action
• Coordinate safety training with the Environmental Safety and Health Supervisor
• Champion the ZERO Accident Philosophy and ensure compliance with safety codes and standards
• Monitor activities of craft to ensure compliance with specifications and schedules
• Interface with Labor/Industrial Relations for craft recruitment and training programs
• Review craft time records using established automated tools
• Monitor installation of materials and equipment to meet drawings and vendor requirements
• Enforce policies, procedures and related work rules established by field construction management
