Job summary

Bechtel is hiring in New Albany, Ohio for a Construction Engineering lead responsible for organizing construction engineering personnel, managing subcontracts, and liaising with design groups. Qualifications

• Technical knowledge of construction engineering relating to a single discipline or multi-discipline area.
• Familiar with cost control, scheduling, and contract administration.
• Understanding Bechtel ethics, ES&H Handbook, and environmental requirements.
• Knowledge of Bechtel's safety programs and subcontractor management.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical and administrative direction to assigned construction engineers.
• Coordinate with engineering on constructability and design issues.
• Establish Design/Field Engineering relationship with Project Engineer and deliver engineering outputs.
• Direct preparation of cost estimates and reporting, forecasting.
