Job summary

The Shelly Company in Ohio is hiring an Unloading Rig Laborer to assist crane operators and perform general labor at Price Inland Terminal and other locations as needed.

Responsibilities include operating heavy equipment, assisting with daily plant operations, and performing maintenance tasks. The role requires safety awareness, reliable attendance, and willingness to travel and work varied hours.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; 1–3 months related experience or training, or equivalent combination.
• Experience operating heavy equipment is helpful (front end loader, bulldozer, skid steer).
• Ability to read and follow directions; basic safety awareness and teamwork.
• Willingness to travel and work nights/weekends as needed; good attendance is expected.

Responsibilities

• Assist plant foreperson with daily operations and upkeep.
• Safely operate heavy equipment including front-end loader, bulldozer, and skid steer where applicable.
• Perform general labor tasks, shoveling, and routine equipment maintenance.
• Assist foreperson and crew; participate in deckhand duties if required.
• Identify safety hazards and report equipment malfunctions; follow directions.
