Job summary

The Shelly Company is seeking a versatile Plant Laborer to support Ohio facility operations. Responsibilities include general labor, basic equipment operation, and routine plant maintenance to keep production running smoothly.

You will work nights and weekends when required, with occasional travel. A strong emphasis on safety, teamwork, and adherence to company policies is essential, and a GED or high school diploma is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent
• 1–3 months related experience and/or training
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and operating instructions

Responsibilities

• Assist the plant foreperson with the daily operations and upkeep of the plant.
• Operate heavy equipment, including frontend loader and skid steer loader.
• Perform general labor, shoveling and basic equipment maintenance.
• May perform welding and fabrication duties as required.
• Identify safety hazards and report malfunctions or safety concerns.
• Follow directions and adhere to OSHA & MSHA regulations.
