Job summary

Commercial Metals Company in Seguin, TX seeks an IT Service Delivery specialist to ensure the customer site is operational, support Cherwell, and coordinate with global teams. This role involves installing and maintaining hardware/software, asset management, and participating in IT projects.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in IT support, strong problem-solving, and excellent communication. Travel up to 25% and on-call hours are required as part of supporting manufacturingIT environments.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years experience in Service Delivery or other IT support positions.
• Experience with PC, applications (manufacturing systems preferred) and telecom tools.
• Experience with IT Ticketing Systems (ServiceNow, Cherwell) and desktop applications.
• Knowledge of Microsoft 365, Windows Server, DNS, DHCP, Exchange, Active Directory
• Problem solving skills including root cause analysis and corrective action
• Ability to plan, prioritize and drive issues, tasks and deliverables from concept to closure
• Ability to work across different non-technical and technical functional groups
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to communicate up, down, and across the business
• Ability to work in a global, multi-site, and cross functional organization
• Strong team member and able to contribute in a team environment
• Ability to work in all types of weather and environment (Office, Mill, Recycling yard – air-conditioned and non-air-conditioned environments)
• Able to lift up to 45 pounds
• Available for on-call hours
• Available for travel up to 25% of the time

Responsibilities

• Works within all aspects of Service Delivery to ensure customer site is operational
• Ensures quality and consistency with the IT Ticketing System – Cherwell
• Assists with Asset Management through Cherwell
• Assists other IT teams to ensure customer requests are being met in a timely manner
• Works with other IT teams to coordinate new technology rollouts, upgrades, or changes
• Acts as an escalation point for Helpdesk; responds to and resolves issues promptly
• Installs, maintains, and troubleshoots all computer hardware and software
• Adheres to IT policies and procedures
• Composes and maintains technical specifications and documentation
• Responsible for site-specific IT project participation
• Supports the business processes, data, analytics, and software applications for the manufacturing system environment
• Performs other duties as assigned
