Job summary

Commercial Metals is seeking an IT Service Delivery Specialist to ensure customer sites stay operational. You will support Cherwell-based ticketing, assist with asset management, and collaborate with multiple IT teams to resolve requests in a timely manner.

The role requires at least 3 years in IT service delivery or support, strong communications, and the ability to work across diverse teams in a manufacturing environment. On-site role with occasional travel and on-call availability.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years experience in Service Delivery or IT support
• Knowledge of IT support areas including PC, applications, telecomm and networking protocols
• Experience with IT ticketing systems (ServiceNow, Cherwell)
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 and Windows Server roles (DNS, DHCP, MS Exchange, AD)
• Strong problem solving and root cause analysis skills
• Ability to plan, prioritize and drive tasks from concept to closure
• Ability to work across diverse teams and communicate effectively

Responsibilities

• Works within all aspects of Service Delivery to ensure customer site is operational
• Ensures quality and consistency with the Cherwell ticketing system
• Assists with Asset Management through Cherwell
• Supports other IT teams to meet customer requests in a timely manner
• Collaborates on new technology rollouts, upgrades, and changes
• Acts as escalation point for Helpdesk and resolves issues promptly
• Installs, maintains, and troubleshoots computer hardware and software
• Complies with IT policies and documentation
• Participates in site-specific IT projects
• Supports manufacturing system environments and data analytics
