Job summary

Commercial Metals in Seguin, TX seeks a Reliability Engineer to support plant equipment, improve process efficiency, and uphold safety standards. You will work with maintenance and operations teams to diagnose issues and implement improvements.

You will review and update maintenance records, monitor performance metrics, and help guide projects from design through startup, including budgeting and training. A BSEE or BSEET is preferred, with strong English communication.

Qualifications

• Practical knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
• Ability to read mechanical prints and electrical diagrams.
• Experience leading projects from design to install and startup.
• Strong English communication, verbal and written.
• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for plant equipment, process efficiency, and safety.
• Assist in reliability engineering across maintenance and predictive activities.
• Update plant and maintenance records and processes.
• Monitor performance metrics for the plant.
• Collaborate with engineers and operations to implement new technologies.
• Prepare and manage project budgets, schedules, expenditures, and corrective actions.
