Ideal candidates have strong leadership, clear communication, and hands-on experience in an industrial setting. Schedule may include weekend work and shift variations to meet mill needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of three years of experience in environmental or safety fields.
• Proven experience leading a team in an industrial environment.
• Demonstrated technical capacity, thoroughness, and time management.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with operations leaders to bring EHS expertise to discussions.
• Identify safety or environmental improvements and drive cultural improvements.
• Oversee root cause investigations for safety incidents and near misses.
• Maintain and train employees on safety programs and required trainings.
• Co-Chair the on-site Joint Safety & Health Committee and coordinate audits.
