Job summary

The YMCA of Memphis & The Mid-South is seeking a Club Y Site Director to lead the daily operations of our middle school before- and after-school program at Club Y. You will supervise staff, manage program logistics, and promote a safe, structured environment in line with YMCA values.

You’ll collaborate with families, school partners, and the community, ensure attendance and enrollment goals, and uphold DHS and YMCA compliance.

Qualifications

• Must be 21+ years old and pass pre-employment background checks/drug screening.
• Four years of college with 2 years experience administering a child care/educational program, including staff supervisory experience.
• Two years of college with 30 hours in business/management, child or youth development, or related field and 2 years experience administering a child care/educational program, which includes staff supervisory experience.
• High school diploma with 4 years experience administering a child care/educational program and 30 hours of TECTA administrator or CDA; staff supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead the daily operation of Club Y programming, ensuring a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment.
• Supervise staff, provide daily guidance, coaching, and accountability to uphold program quality.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with families, school partners, and the community.
• Ensure compliance with DHS and YMCA policies, maintain documentation and staff files.
