Job summary

YMCA of Greater Kansas City is seeking an Assistant Site Supervisor for our Y Club before and after school program serving kindergarten through sixth grade. This role supports daily operations at a licensed school-age site and reports to the Site Supervisor.

The position emphasizes safety, engaging activities, and adherence to state licensing standards while providing opportunities for professional growth and career advancement within the YMCA.

Qualifications

• Public relations and leadership skills in working with families, staff, and stakeholders.
• Understanding of quality school-age development and programming.
• Ability to work with diverse families and backgrounds.

Responsibilities

• Support daily site responsibilities and program flow.
• Develop weekly/monthly activity plans aligned with standards.
• Maintain attendance, sign-ins, and related records.
• Assist with supervision and scheduling of site staff and ensure proper ratios.
• Communicate equipment and supply needs and reports to supervisor.
