Job summary

YMCA of Memphis & Mid-South is seeking a Part-time Site Director for a School Age Before & After School program in Milan, TN. You will plan and implement daily lesson plans, supervise staff, ensure safety, and maintain DHS and YMCA standards while fostering social, physical, spiritual, and mental growth.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent with 4 years of child development or related experience.
Optionally 2 years of college (30 hours in relevant fields) with 2 years group setting experience.
Or a 4-year degree with one year of group setting experience.

Responsibilities

Oversee before/after school operations for 20–99 students; support seasonal camps.
Ensure safety, maintain licensing standards, and conduct site inspections.
Lead daily curriculum, supervise staff, and maintain lesson plans and rosters.
Develop parent communication and conferences per DHS requirements.
Manage supplies, budgeting, and program space setup/cleanup.
